1968 Austin 1100, ‘Hettie’. Not owned for long but health forces sale. Brakes overhauled, been well looked after by local garage. Minor oil leak but really not much. 1971 Morris 1300. Complete documented restoration featured in Idle Chatter in 2005. Full structural restoration in 2005 and garaged. Car has completed many tours including Land’s End to John O’Groats, Ireland and Normandy. Engine has fast road cam and quite happily drives on the motorway at 70mph providing good MPG. Excellent unmarked interior and no expense spared in upkeep and restoration. Requires some light exterior cosmetic restoration as also a daily driver with great reliability record.
