1971 Morris 1100, only 59,800 miles. Don’t judge a book by its cover - very honest car that despite the paintwork is very original and solid. Still has original floors and sills and has not been welded. No rust or body damage. Interior needs work but door cards and headliner are serviceable with cleaning. Carpets also very good. New battery, four new tyres, new fuel pump, new distributor with electronic ignition, new dynamator, new unleaded valve seats, restudded cylinder head, new front brake calipers and flexible pipes, new rear brake wheel cylinders, new fuel tank sender, halogen headlights, new windscreen seal, new ignition barrel with two keys plus other bits and bobs. Car starts, stops and drives very well with all gears selecting as they should. Good chrome and suspension stays up. Ideal winter project to finish off ready for next summer. £3000.

1972 1100 Mk III, aborted project. Last on road in 2022. Complete but engine removed - does roll for loading. Bodywork OK although paintwork poor, lots of underseal underneath and some localised welding needed to front panel and wing. Interior complete but scruffy. Lots of parts including bonnet, bumpers and two front subframes. Loss of storage space forces reluctant sale. £750.
