Day 1 - 21 Aug 16.
A fine start to our Ireland Heritage Tour with the whine of A-series engines gathering at Holyhead Port. Only one casualty as Rolf's MG Crayford suffered a distributor failure in Germany and was trailed back home but jumped in his MG and made it to the departure gate with time to spare. Great effort Rolf.
Thankfully a calm ferry journey across the infamous hostile Irish Sea saw us arrive in Dublin welcomed by friendly Irish Border guards who just waved us through shouting we used to have one of those!
Welcome drinks and a splendid dinner at the Camden Court Hotel in the Centre of Dublin was followed by Team 1100 latest party game of how many people can you squeeze into an Irish Pub........quite a lot as we discovered!!! No 'elfs and safety' here! A great evening spent in the famous Cassidy pub in the centre of Dublin singing Irish folks songs and drinking Guinness.
It's only the first night of the tour and Team 1100 know how to Party!
